DHS COVID-19 Early Warning Monitoring System Dashboard Showing Local Community Spread UPDATED ODP Announcement 20-101, Regarding Provider Actions Based on Levels of Community Spread COVID-19 Updates, Information for Travelers Current COVID-19 Farm of Hope Program Adjustments will be updated for re-opening Similarities and Differences between Flu and COVID-19 (CDC) We are temporarily closed as of Nov. 20 12/11/2020 The Covid-19 positivity rate in Dauphin County has continued to be rated as "Substantial", so we remain closed. We will initiate our reopening process when Dauphin County reaches the " Moderate " rate for two consecutive weeks. We will continue to keep everyone updated as our situation unfolds. Substantial level of community spread is defined as positivity rate over 10% within Dauphin County. These numbers are posted every Friday afternoon at the COVID-19 Early Warning Monitor System Dashboard (see blue boxes above). At this site you can view all the counties and even different indicators. We are administered by Dauphin County so that is the only county that will trigger a response for us. We will reopen after two specific milestones are reached: 1) 14 days (at least), and 2) two weeks of moderate community spread levels at or below 10%. Virtual Holiday Community Sing to be held on Friday, December 11 We will hold our annual Holiday Community Sing on Zoom December 11, 2020 at 11am this year, produced by our friends at WB Music Therapy. We invite all our Growers, staff, friends and family to this fun Holiday event. The meeting ID is 330 551 3084, Password is 123987456. Simply visit https://zoom.us , click join a meeting, and type in our ID and password. Then wait for the host to begin the fun! A Zoom party will follow the Sing at its normal time, 1-2 PM, on the same ID. We hope to see you all there for a fun morning of holiday cheer! Be a part of our "SHARING HOPE" Community Activities Program Donate Now to Share your Gift with our Growers SHARING HOPE is a great way to double your giving impact in the local community. We ask donors to give to their favorite charity or organization through us. Read the FLYER or the rack card for more information. For example when someone donates $100 they can request we help the places like the Ronald McDonald House or some other local organizations and we make contact with the organization and find out what materials or supplies they need. The Growers go out and buy the items on their wish list and deliver them to the organization that day. This is why we called it SHARING HOPE , donors get to give to their favorite charity and they also SHARE their donation with the Growers in the form of a full day of community volunteer work for our Growers. Our Growers love to do this kind of volunteer work and it gives them a sense that the community needs them and they are valued . Our five alpacas- Nina, Mimi, Maddie, Chalupa, and Hope, and four sheep- Phoebe, Sarah, Mary, and Elvis provide the fiber for our yarn.
